Now and over the past several months we have been providing building blocks for operating in spiritual gifts del Espiritu Santo and I want to open up today reading from John chapter 14 verse 12.

If I had the title today here's multiple titles that I would give this one lesson much I would call it God is a relational God alignment and the operation of faith so let's take a look at John chapter 14 verse 12 12 I'll go ahead and read it and then sister will read it um after me después Jesus says most assuredly I say to you he who believes in me the works that I do he will also do and greater works than these he will do because I go to my father porque yo voy al Padre now Jesus said he who believes in me will do my works this has to be settled in your heart and in your spirit today you have to believe and know that you will do the works of Jesus hizo but Jesus tells us the key is believing in him to believe in Jesus it means that you are aligned with what Jesus is doing in the moment you are speaking waiting or acting just as Jesus iscuchando y actuando así como el Señor Jesús hizo so Jesus is saying if you are presently and actively trusting in me.

Serving By Following Christ

As simple as this illustration is it shows that you are actively aware of what Jesus is doing. So our responsibility is to remain in a position in a place of sensitivity.

Abiding In Love And Relationship

And we do this by remaining in love and in relationship with the Lord. I'm not serving because I want a bigger church or a larger platform. I am serving because I really see Jesus Christ washing the feet of his people al Señor Jesus lavando los pies de su pueblo there is a true divine revelation that I see Jesus binding up the wounds of people if you cannot hear the cries of people's soul you're not hearing what Jesus hears. If all we see is an opportunity to post on social media about something big that has happened in the platform social algo que está sucediando we are not serving Christ we are serving ourselves mismo and if we're serving ourselves that means we are following ourselves. And I thank God for this beautiful promise in the Holy Ghost. Where he is, that's exactly where I can be also. And the only way to follow him is to serve Jesus. John 15 9, I'll read it, reads it like this.

As the Father loved me, I also have loved you. Abide in my love.

So we remain in Jesus by abiding in relationship with him.

Now I want to show you how Jesus himself operated in the gifts of the Spirit.

He said he can only do what he sees the Father doing. In John chapter 8 verse 26. And then again in John chapter 8 verse 38. Jesus says I speak what I have seen with my father. Jesus is speaking of two spiritual realities.

So if we are going to operate by the Holy Ghost, we must learn two things.

Now notice something very important here. Why would Jesus use the word father?

Because he was establishing and describing a relationship.

It is the relationship between a son and a father. It flows from remaining and abiding in the love of God.

We must become settled in our fellowship, in our communion and with our relationship with the Lord himself.

The thing about a relationship is that it cannot be taught it must be lived.

This is why there's not a lot of shouting when there's a lot of teaching on relationship. And as you work out your relationship with God you come to know how to see the Father and how to hear from the Father ying and hearing becomes your catalyst for operation. For example, I may see the Lord healing someone in a service or in a moment.

And when I say I I'm not talking about myself I'm talking in general not yo so you see the Lord healing in a moment I'm going to go lay hands on you and you will recover. When you lay hands on that individual they recover. Hearing is listening and knowing for example if I've heard the Lord say I am Jehovah Rapha, I am the Lord that is healing you.

When voice of the Lord that says lay hands on the sick, pray the prayer of faith and they will recover. So whether I see something naturally or I feel it in my emotion or if I feel motivated at the time I can still lay hands and pray the prayer faith.

I'm responding to what I heard in the spirit in the spiritual and remember from lesson one hearing is not merely receiving information.

Now this is the importance of faith hope and love let's take a look at 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verse 13 and we'll read that together. Faith, Hope, And Love Explained

Now I want to show you this in Romans chapter 5 verses 1 through 2. Now sis I will read verse 1 and then you can read verse 1 and because I'm going to explain within the passages of the scripture.

That means justification has already happened justification is not something that will happen. So I'm putting my faith in a reality that already exists in God. So I already have peace with God I'm not trying to find peace with God I already have it if I believe it it already exists. Look at verse two when it says when we have this faith when also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God estando firmes and gloriamos in laza de la gloria de Dios told I have faith in something that already has happened I have access to what has already existed. This is why we move by faith and not flesh. Because in the flesh you may not have access yet no tienes accessible you already have access to it. Gifts are not something you're trying to get you already have those gifts you have to put your faith in what already exists in the spirit and the only way to access what already exists is you must come to know Jesus. Now I can expect for it to appear soon take a look at Romans chapter 8 verse 24.

And I'll do it just like I did it last time sis verse 24 says for we were saved in this hope but hope that is seen is not hope for why does one still hope for what he already sees? I don't have faith that God can use me in miracles.

Accessing What Already Exists

I hope in those miracles I don't have faith that there will be end time harvest I'm hoping in the end time harvest. My faith is settled that God is using me in miracles so people may push the enemy may try to discourage empuje or enemigo trata de decepcionarte but the only thing that can be moved is your emotion your faith is anchored in what already exists we need to have boldness and trust in what already exists I feel this in the Holy Ghost right now. Some of you God has already spoken to you and revealed to you what you ought to be doing in the spirit and you're waiting for something to happen to prove to you that you can do it. The only proof you need is that your faith is settled in what you've heard in the Holy Ghost. So start doing and acting what already exists in the spirit be wise so you don't do anything silly but act in the realm of faith in the ambiente look what it says in verse 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. You're not having faith in that God is going to do something. Your faith is settled already in what God is doing. This is what separates the apostolic from spiritualist and mystics de lospiritistas or mysticos they believe they have to speak things into existence we believe our God has already speak it into existence. And we just hold on to it until he makes it appear in the natural realm why don't you begin to worship God and praise God right now and thank him for the things that he's already spoken in existence. So faith is not settled in the natural realm faith is settled in the life that is already in Christ Jesus And if we are a remaining relationship with him. We can see and hear about realities that already exist in him.

It's a great revelation that God is equipping millions to reach billions.

Our faith is anchored in a historical reality. The ending has already been written.

This is why Hebrews chapter 11, verse 1 reads like this. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. It is the evidence of things not seen. You cannot have evidence for something that doesn't exist.

So we must remember that faith is historic.

Now in these last five or ten minutes, I'm going to explain operating in spiritual gifts at an initial level. I will uh briefly teach about the gift of faith, the gift of prophecy and gift of tongues. And the reason we'll talk about these three is because they are easier to approach.

Because they are governed by fewer spiritual laws. When you operate in the spirit, you have to follow the law. And so the gift of faith operates from a settled position in God.

This usually happens when someone has a very strong, settled position in God.

He was settled, he was rock hard persuaded. He was settled in two things. Number one, the Lord God was fighting with Israel. And number two, that God had authority over the laws of nature. He was so settled in this position. But he was settled in God's position. And so he operated in that faith.

Prayer And Impartation

I will share this with you and then we'll close in prayer. We won't have enough time to talk about the other things. We are settled in you, Jesus. In the Holy Ghost. Everybody shout, and somebody say Amen.

Testimony: Speak What You Know

Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. What a powerful revelatory lesson. There were so many just kingdom nuggets of truth. And I was in a certain service somewhere. And it was a very challenging service. There wasn't any praise. And uh the atmosphere was not one of those very exciting atmospheres where everything's easy. And I remember standing there on the second row, and I made a noise out loud. They were getting ready to call me to the platform. And I went, woo. That was about the faith I had in the moment was woo. And I remember the Lord literally spoke to me instantly. And he said, What is your problem? He said, Do you have a problem with what you see or what you know?

Yeah, kick to my tail, right there, standing on the second row. He said, Where is your faith? He said, Maybe you need to close your eyes.

He said, Have you forgotten what I said? And it was like he began to parade spoken word before my eyes. What you see with your natural eye? Or what I have spoken through my word.

He said, get yourself together. He said, have you forgotten Pakistan? He said, you walked into a town square where everybody was sitting waiting to see if I was real.

He said, Did I not keep my word there?

He said, what is your problem? Will I not keep my word here as well? He said, go to that pulpit. And declare the end from the beginning. Don't speak what you see. Speak what you know. And you know that I will do it.

And I walked to that pulpit. And I said exactly what God said.

I began to prophesy what he was about to do.

And literally as I spoke those things. And people started getting the Holy Ghost all over. And healings and revelation of the mighty God in Christ begin to come into the crowd.

Sometimes I think what we need to do is close our natural eyes.

And just speak that prophetic word.

If you're having problems with your eyes, don't take them out. But close them. But maybe you need to close your natural eyes until your natural eyes can see what the spirit sees. Don't be ashamed if you have been going through a journey where you're struggling with what you see in the natural and what you know in the spirit. That's why God has given us Pastor Johnson.
